Lower Back Pain. Anxiety Related?

I'm having lower back pain... seems like a muscle. It's on the right hand side of my back... starts at the top of my butt and goes up on my right side til about the middle of my back... Anyways, I'm not having any signs of anxiety right now... but was wondering if it's easier for people with anxiety to strain muscles? I don't work out very much, and am on my feet alot during the day at work. I also should add I don't have the best posture. I'm not obese, I'm actually a pretty little guy. I'm 5'6 126lbs. I took the trash out at work 2 nights in a row... and pulled the trash can with my right arm in a strange position... this probably has done it... but the trash can wasn't very heavy.

I'm sure I pulled or strained the muscle, but it hurts so bad! I've done ice and heat... seems to help a little, but I think it's just going to heal on its own and take some time. I can stand up straight and feel good.. but its when I sit down or bend backwards kind of... is when it "catches" and feels like it's "pulling"... at the same time.

Just wondering if it's anxiety related? even though I show no symptoms of anxiety... or is it b/c of a strain?
Also, sense I struggle with anxiety and panic attacks from occasion, is it easier for people with anxiety to get soar backs?

Anyone know any good exercises to strengthen the lower back, so I don't have to go through this hell again. lol.

Thanks.

Get Xrays anually. Nerves can create any problem,,,any problem. I found that I had a degenerate spine, and that's why I had the lower back problems...drink lots of water, and stretch, and watch for the correct posture.

you probably pulled a muscle when taking out the trash. if it does'nt get better in a couple of days you might want to see a chiropractor to get an adjustment. go back and forth with heat and ice. people with anxiety seem to have more back trouble than others, but i think you just pulled a muscle and it has nothing to do with anxiety. hope you feel better soon. take care. remar
