Microgestin Fe 1/20 causing anxiety/depression?

I started taking Microgestin Fe 1/20 about three weeks ago, after the first night of taking it I was at the gym and almost passed out...I work out regularly and have never experienced this. Then every single day for the following two weeks I was having anxiety attacks, while driving, while at the mall, at the grocery store and I started to think I was losing my mind. I feel like I am in a haze and nothing is as "clear" as it used to be.  I went to back to Planned Parenthood and they told me to take a week off birth control (its been four days) and to start was I was originally on, Desogen again. It takes everything out of me to go to a store, or on a walk around my neighborhood. I still feel anxious and I can start crying at the drop of a hat...I am happy with all aspects of my life so i am not sure what is bringing this on. I really hope my emotions (horomones) start to level out again and this feeling of hopelessness and anxiety goes away!!! Has anyone else ever felt this while on a birth control, how long until it goes away?? Thank you!
