Mind races but body is in slow mo

I have noticed that at times (usually once I've gotten out of the shower or am in the bathroom getting ready) my mind will race, scream out almost sounds echo and my body or my movements are in slow motion I can feel my body slowing but my mind is racing...this is driving me crazy I can't figure out what is going on. I am on Wellbutrin and am a recovering alcoholic (over a year clean) and have slowly been remembering past trauma from childhood.

Could all of this be connected?
Please help!
Thank you

How long have you been on the Wellbutrin?  This is one of the most stimulating of all antidepressants and can make anxiety worse for those who have it, besides the ordinary humongous range of side effects of antidepressants.  Don't know what it is, but thought I'd ask if this drug is new to you.  Do you suffer from depression, because this drug isn't usually used if anxiety is your primary problem.

For sure.  I took Wellbutrin and it made me SUPER WEIRD!  I had to STOP taking it and started taking Paxil.  That's just my EXPERIENCE ONLY.  Today, I take a low dose of Abilify.
