Muscle jerks with anxiety?

I'm 15 and I have OCD, so basically from a week I been having panic attacks about a new 'obsession', anyways, so when I'm having an anxiety attack I also get a 'muscle jerk'. For example, I'm sitting in my room, fearing/worrying then all of the sudden my leg jerks. It only happen when I'm anxious and it's just one jerk, why is that and does anyone else also get these?

Hello, I'm 18 and also currently being tested for OCD. I get what you are calling "muscle jerks" all over my body. MY hands and neck most often twitch of have the muscles spasm. I believe they are called tics and they come for many different reasons, and many form into the habits that are often poked fun at in media. For me, if something doesn't feel right i must twitch my fingers until it feels ok. I've also developed a new one where if something disgusts me a click my tongue until I no longer see it. You could also be experiencing muscle spasms from holding your muscles flexed without realizing it. I do this in my calfs and shoulders and the tension builds up until they twitch or jerk.
