Im going to get married next month. im sure that i will be very excited on that day and im sure that my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor will start to shake. I explained the same situation to my doctor and he prescibed AlprazolamAlprazolam Alprazolam er 0.25 mg po tabs. I haven't start to have the pill. My question is to know if this pill can controlControl Control rx my handHand or foot spasms Hand tremor shaking during my marriage if i had on that day. Can i really believe this pill and have once before my marraige. please advice me in this.
AlprazolamAlprazolam Alprazolam er ( brand name Xanax ) is a strong benzodiazepine ( triazolobenzodiazepine to be exact ). Alprazolam possesses anxiolytic, sedative, hypnotic, anticonvulsant, and muscle relaxant properties. I am 99% sure that your hand won't shake but you might experience some dizziness and would avoid or at least take very little alcohol with it since it can really bring you down. Alcohol is one of the most important and common interactions. Alcohol and benzodiazepines such as alprazolam taken in combination have a synergistic effect on one another, which can cause severe sedation, behavioral changes, and intoxication. The more alcohol and alprazolam taken the worse the interaction.
So i suggest being really careful with that drug or take a lower dose if you think you will drink alcohol but don't drink too much. Extreme moderation. Since taking Alcohol at a wedding is almost inevitable maybe you could try taking it 3-4 hours prior the ceremony so it will have decreased effect when it will be the time to drink alcohol.
Did you tell you doctor it was for a wedding and you would drink alcohol on this med? Maybe you should go see you doctor again so he can give you something a bit softer and less sedative. Maybe just an anticonvulsive drug would do the trick if it's all about hands shakiness but i'm no expert in anticonvulsive drugs and their effects other than for treatment of epilepsy.
I am not a doctor and the suggestions i am giving you cannot replace those of a qualified doctor so if you have any questions consult your doctor.
