Of course you have anxiety! Knowing that you had a stroke is a very serious and very scary time! You are very lucky that you are fine. I have heard of this happening...and even more often these days..Also, you are a new MOMMY! That in itself is so WONDERFUL and at the same time, TOTALLY STRESSFUL TIME! It takes a long time to adjust to your new life. Is it possible that you have post-pardum? Depression, many times, is also linked with anxiety and vice versa. I would discuss this with my doctor and possible meds for it (if you aren't adverse to taking them). Also, try to put your mind at ease about other illnesses...you have had many a test between pregnancy and the stroke. The had shaking and weakness can definitely be caused by your anxiety. And the stroke was brought on from the pregnancy and is not likely to happen again. I know it is easier said than done, but you have to try positive talk and try to divert your attention onto other things and your blessings. Getting a therapist is also very helpful and if you feel that your "symptoms" aren't subsiding, it is important to get one...Best to you.
I think I would feel the same way in your situation I think that you have to stop looking up symptoms on line that is the worst thing you can do you will think you have diseases and cancer because you are telling yourself you have this stuff, you need to see someone for help like a therapist, you are afraid because you had the blood clot but it is gone so you need to stop worrying about other health problems
First, go back to your doctor and insist on him/her checking you out some more. The hand/wrist situation is nothing I have ever experienced with anxiety. I would also go to the prescription drugs' websites and verify what their side effects are. You can also go to www.mayoclinic.com and check there. I use that site all the time to verify my symptoms and to make wise decisions as to whether a medication's benefits outweigh the negative side effects. Lipitor I know is really bad for your liver.
Nope, no family hisotry...its rare but it does happen sometimes after having a baby
i m also facing this kind ov prob...................i cannot lift any thing up coz my hands n wrists are always very shaky specially the left hand and leg....................when ever i lift any thing............i feel my arms very weak.......and arms get shaky for hours...........as u dunt have high cholesterol....u must be facing anxiety like all of us.........but its starnge to know that u had stroke...as u r very very young to get have ...........................do u have family history??????
I came off the blood thinners a week and a half ago...6 months ago my cholesterol was high 243...so they put me on lipitor and 3 months ago I had it checked again and it was 97..so I stopped the lipitor
as u said that ur taking blood thinners..............................do u have cholesterol problem..........................wats ur lipid profile's result..................
The MRI was done to make sure the blood clot was gone, so that I could come off the blood thinners...when it came back the clot was gone and there didnt seem to be any damage.
What was the purpose of the MRI in November?
