Ok ill be more persistent with trying to deal with my thoughts :) Yes i am seeing a psychologist thankfully!
it does take time to re program your thinking, stick with it even when you feel like it is futile. Like others have said, alot of this rests in our self talk and brain patterns that have been in training since we were young. There are some helpful tools available. Many books, my favorite is Eckhart TOlle. Another one I have been using lately is "what to say when you talk to yourself"
good luck and use this site, there is alot of great info and support :)
Green, I can't recall...have you tried therapy yet?
Unfortunately all of this is part of the anxiety process. Until we can "retrain" our thought processes, we continue to be stuck in that cycle of negative thinking.
With time and help, it will get better!
iv had kinda the same thing for yrs, itl make you depressed im currently trying to reprograme my mind to be more possitive, everytime i have a bad thought i switch that bad thought to a good thought.. e.g i cant go out side.. il switch to i will go outside and itl be the best time i ever have... you get me lol, its something we do to our selves at the end off the day we controll ourselfs so you can controll the thoughts right..you just need to be more possitve and forget the negative.. write 10 good things down on paper and 10 things you dream off and read them befor you go to bed for about 2 weeks, that helped me be more possitive and when ever you can just think good thoughts to reprograme your mind, hope that makes sence
