Neurofeedback, biofeedback, or hypnosis. Anyone with experience?

Hi.  I was wondering if annyone has ever gone through any neurofeedback (neurotherapy), biofeedback, or hypnosis to help treat their anxiety or depression?

I have been on meds and none of them seem to be extremely effective.  I am considering neurotherapy especially and maybe hypnosis because I am becoming desperate.  Has anyone ever had any good from these?  Is it worth my time?

Also, how much can it be without insurance?  Anyone know?  I need help.  phsychotherapy can only get me so far.

Please let me know if you have any experience?

Biofeedback and hypnosis certainly worked for me in very difficult circumstances where beta blockers were making my life miserable.
I still have contact with a UK biofeedback guy who used to train people in Biofeedback and also hypnotherapy so if you want to be more spefic i can perhaps ask his advice before you commit to anything.

Please let us know if you end up using this approach.  I'm sure lots of people are curious to whether this would work.
Greendave:  How many sessions of biofeedback/hypnotherapy did it take to find relief?  Did you do both of them together or separately?

My family doctor used to run me through a 30 minutes hypnosis session weekly to try and get me to be more relaxed. I probably had around 5 sessions. He had a UK hynotheraphy qualification.  I am one of those people who just gets very relaxed during hynosis and absorb some of the positive messages. It was really very helpful and I would say, it lowered my overall anxiety. So my experience with hynosis has been positive, much better than my experiences with psychologists.

I firstly tried hypnotherapy and found it so fascinating and powerful that I took two hpnotherapy qualifictions which kept me going for a couple of years. I found for me that my own self hypnosis tapes were very effective in getting me extremely relaxed and with a few positive post hypnotic siggestions I could cope a lot better.
Biofeedback was a revelation because of the incredible power of the equipment at relaying what was going on at subconcious levels in my body. I had a few phobias which were causing panic attacks and making things worse for me.
Well worth time as it does make you feel very relaxed and there can be more to it if used properly.
