New anti anxiety medicines?

I am suffering from anxiety for last 7 years.....just wondering are there any new drugs coming in the market with less side affects and better results.....

Are you having depression along with anxiety? If not, then you can take an antianxiety med that does not have sexual side effects. Take care. Remar

Thanks guys....i have taken Citalopram....didnt really help.....then my GP prescribed me Effexor....its an excellent antidepressant.....really helped......but i dont like its sexual sideaffects.....so I am after drug which works and have no serious sideaffects.....Thanks a lot!!!

I am not really sure.  Have you tried various medications in the past? If so, did they work for you?  There are many proven treatments out there that can really help in my opinion.  I would ask my doctor or pharmacist to see what he/she knows.
