Nightmares???

Nightmares???

Totally freaked right now....had a horrible nightmare and awoke in panic mode...heart was pounding and racing..now it's been skipping beats...my mind is racing and I'm having trouble calming my obsessive thoughts...nightmare was very strange......afraid to sleep...did a lot of snacking before bed tonight...could that cause this

Every so often I go through phases of horrible nightmares. Usually it's when I'm going through some sort of change in life or when I've got something weighing on my mind. All I can recommend is trying to keep your mind in a pleasant place before going to bed. Watch a comedy or read a funny book. Something to lift your spirits a little before going to sleep.

If you find you can't get back to sleep after about 15 minutes, get out of bed and do something else until you are tired again or you might risk picking up where you left off in your dreams or just not being able to get back to sleep at all.
