Your symptoms do sound like symptoms of anxiety. I have experienced tingling sensations on the side of my head, hands, and face at times. Not numbness though. However, there are lots of people on this site who have written similar symptoms as you.
I've had panic attacks off and on for almost 10 years now, but never numbness/tingling. I've been really stressed out lately, I just had a baby 2 months ago and I had pregnancy induced hypertension which didn't help me relax and we bought a house and moved in while I was in the hospital having the baby.
Hi, I have experienced those symptoms, and I have anxiety and migraines. I am unsure which of those conditions my various numb and tingling episdes are related to. Do you have a history of migraines? If your hormones are fluctuating, as they would likely be after having a baby, that could trigger a migraine headache.
Are you having the numbness and tingling on both sides of your body? If it is just one-sided and you are having the headache, you may want to seek medical advice.
