Oh boy...A new symtpom. Palate feels burned/weird

Im going to go to my doctor once again next week and ask that they send me to a neurologist. This is going too far. I feel like Im really close to going insane with all my symptoms!!!

Yesterday I had quite the nice day, (compared to my other days when I've just basicly wanted to die off) I had some mild anxiety and etc, but then in the evening when I had finished brushing my teeth, went to bed and turned the lights off...15-30  minutes after that while trying to fall asleep, my palate started to feel weird. It's like my palate is either swollen or my tongue, and there is no room for both of them. Next to that, my palate feels numb even though I can still feel the touch on it.
Can you guys believe this? I mean, isn't there a damn end to this ****????
The more symptoms I get, the more Im starting to feel like there is seriously something bad behind this....

Anyone of you had the same? I can't find any information about it on the internet, except on MS-sites, of course.

Similar here... Started with shaking/tremors/almost low vibration all through my body.  Mostly when waking from sleep.  Hands shake sometimes worse then iothers, Muscle weakness, very shaky and unsteady when i exert force with any muscle,  night sweats on and off, and now this strange sensation mostly left side of palate and my tongue feels very fatigued.  So strange!  I, too, feel as if im going insane.  Family and friends tell me its anxiety.  1st visit to gp scheduled for physical and blood work.  Will go from there.
Ive gone from thinking i have cancer, HIV, MS, ALS, BFS, Lyme disease, and EVERYTHING in between.  Ive tried to stop googling, and worrying over every little bump or feeling...but as most of you know that is much easier said then done.  Just praying that its nothing terminal and trying to get through 1 day at a time until i find out what is causing this.  If it turns out to be just anxiety then i pray i can find a way to control it.
All the Best to you all!

I thought my numbness was due to a pizza burn on the roof of my mouth. The numbness has persisted for quite some time so I went an ENT doctor. He took a cat scan but it was negative. He wants me to get an MRI so I will go to Mt Sinai for it and a follow up there. I was a fireman at the World Trade Center and I hope it is not a sympton from there. I also had 2 concussions while I was a firefighter. The doctor also referred me to an RA doctor. I will re-visit my dentist for a follow up. I am glad the doctors are being thorough. I like to cover all the bases. The ENT doctor wants to find out what is wrong before he closes the case. Oh yeah I almost forgot (I have had short term memory loss since my 2nd concussion. I have a small hole in my septum. My ENT prescribed some cream and the hole is on the mend. There is no pain associated with the septum hole. The numbness continues at the base of my two front teeth and in my palat. I am hopeful the doctors will find whats wrong. (and the technicians)

My list of symptoms from the last couple of months would be too long, and some of them are really strange like what you described.  Personally I had to go on an anti-anxiety medication because I couldn't think about anything other than my health issues and I wasn't able to enjoy anything.  Things do get better though.  For me, I think this encounter with anxiety has been my body's way of telling me I need to change the way I'm living my life.  I was burnt out from work, etc.  It takes a while to recover from anxiety when it gets as bad as it was for me.  I sometimes think it was like being in a bad accident.  Of course, it takes the body a while to get over that.  I think anxiety can be the same.

Thanks so much for the both of you for answering!!!

My palate is back to normal now, but now I have lots of cheekpains again...It might be because of my wisdom-teeth are coming, but it's still freaking me out.

I have had this symptom off and on for several years now, but this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone else having it!  I feel terrible admitting that I am somewhat relieved to hear it!  The roof of my mouth and my palate become inflamed (like hives) and burn terribly!  I've noticed too that cruchy foods can trigger this reaction, but not all the time.  The worst episode of this I have ever experienced was while eating Long John Silvers, which I haven't eaten since!  Oddly enough considering how infrequently I experience this sypmtom, I had it happen to me yesterday morning while eating an Otis Spunkmeyer Wildberry Muffin.  Three bites in it happened and I threw the rest away.  Needless to say I won't be buying them anymore!  Hope you felt better today, and thank you for sharing your symptom!

Is the palate the top of the mouth under the front teeth? Cause I've always always always had pain and raised bumps there when I'm stressed and having more anxiety than usual. It drives me absolutely nuts. I rinse with salt water and stay away from crunchy foods.

If I listed all my symptoms I'd think I were nuts, some of them are just bizarre. Hope it feels better for you soon.
