Ok, now I'm getting pissed!

What is wrong with me?  In my previous posts, I noted that I received a bad blood work report and am improving on working on it.  It's only been about 9 days but doing well.

Most of the time now I feel good.  But now I get worried about my BP.  When I got it tested last time it was high and now its all I think about.  When I don't think about it, it seems to be ok but then all of a sudden, BAM, the thought comes back and I feel it go up.  It's driving me nuts!  Can thinking about it actually casue you BP to rise?

I was thinking about calling my doctor and going back on Zoloft for while.  It worked before for me and made me really relaxed.  But before I got my 3.5 week cold virus, I felt great and now all of a sudden I'm back to worrying about every little thing and every little ache and pain.

I hate to go back on med's but don't know what to do. I just wish I could quit thinking about my BP all the time and just relax.  I sleep really well so I wish i was always like that.

Any suggestions?

I know how you feel, I to have high blood pressure and I used to obsess about it all the time. Still do occasionally. But I do know that when you are stressed and having a anxiety attack your blood pressure does rise. For instance I would check it before I had to go to the doctor and it would be fine and then when I got to the doctors office it would be extremely high because I was stressed and had anxiety about being at the doctor. Does your doctor have you on any blood pressure medecine?
