Im sorry I must misunderstood your post last time. I just get very anxious. You seem like you know all about this  I cant say the long word but I know it means collaspe lung.How BIG was your x husband? Was it the whole lung or just small like mine. You guys always make me feel good.  Im glad you know a little about this self.  I just read it and I know if its the whole lung it can be life threating ......Thank you for helping me out SUZI you very helpful all of you are...
Since I have it small can it get worst. Oh man I just done know about this stuff I think this is why Im scared....

No, a collapsed lung and a pneumothorax are different things.  In a collapsed lung, the entire lung collapses.  In a pneumothorax, there is just a tiny hole in the lung that lets some air seep out.  People can still use the lung and still breathe.  In fact, we can breathe and live normal lives with only one lung.  I've never heard of a pneumothorax that involved the whole lung or more than just a tiny hole.  Sometimes these tiny holes are microscopic, so much so that they can only be detected on CAT scan or MRI.  I've never heard of one getting worse.  Yours will not get worse now that they are treating it.  It's already getting smaller, so it will continue to get smaller.  It will probably be gone by Thursday, all healed, but if you don't get a grip on your fears, you'll find something else to worry about and you'll find the quality of your life has gone way down.  You don't want that to happen.

You live in Lowell, Massachusetts.  That's a beautiful place.  Take a relaxing walk and calm down.  You are fine.  If you don't want to walk, sit outside and read a little and enjoy the beauty of life and the fact that you are cancer free and your pneumothorax is getting better hour by hour.  If the dog is the photo is yours, play with him a bit.  Concentrate on the fact that things are going well (and they are).  You have no kidney stones, you have no tumors, your pneumothorax got smaller in one day.  You are fine.

Thank you so much for your time.   I didnt understand what it was.  Im so glad I met you and others on here. You all make me feel so much better. I guess things seem serious and its not.     Im just taking deep breaths....Ill let you know friday how everything is........

I live in Ohio, the Buckeye state.  I almost moved to Maine once, though.  It's gorgeous there.  I love New England.

Thank you so much....You really made me feel better  I didnt understand what it was but when you talk to others you know more info.......I love this forum.  SUZI she been so helpful to me for the past 4 months always there for me when I need her........EVERYONE is so awesome....
