Pains all over

Hey everyone, i know alot of people get palpuations, but i dident know anyone had the problem of thinking of there heart all day, and thats what i do.. i think of my heart all day and it get frusterating..  Some people get papultatoins 8 times a day, i get them like 30 times a day, plus i can get an attack then like 4 attacks straight after it, so it feels my heart is soo out of wack.. its scary.. i have been tested. and found nothing.. people say palpuations is just ur heart beating fast?? well not mine.. my heart will be beating normal then it will have this one huge beat where i swear the heart doubles its normal size, then after that can beat normal again or beat rapidly fast, then go back to normal.. does this sound right.. does everybody else heart jump out these chest for the first beat?? i dont drink coffy or have much caffiene, i dont smoke. i dont drink much.. so why am i getting so many attacks day??

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE answer all my questions... mainly about it huge beat at the start.

Thank you so much people
Adam

If you have been tested what you are describing sounds a lot like a PVC.  A premature ventricular contraction.  If you go to the heart forum, or even search for PVC on this site, you will find a TON of info and people who have this.  A lot of them describe them and it might give you some piece of mind.  The important thing is to get checked thoroughly and if your tests are all normal, PVC's are a benign occurance although they are annoying.

Please go to the heart forum or search for PVC's on this site, I promise you'll find a ton of threads and a ton more people who will help you!!!

Good luck!!

Adam,
All I can say is I can TOTALLY relate.  I get severe attacks as well and it can go on literally for hours where my heart seems to be skipping beats every few seconds.  It is so scarey and causes me great anxiety to the point that I have other pains that I never had before.  Sometimes drinking ice cold water calms them down.
I had a cardiologist tell me once to try extra potassium because it is important for your heart rhythum and mine was on the low-normal side.  Might be something to try?  Also, magnesium is important and I had a cardio tech tell me that helped her patients a great deal.
Good luck, I know how you feel.  It's frustrating.

HI, I AM NEW TO THIS SITE AND TO PVC'S, ALTHOUGH JUST DIAGNOSED WITH IT, I THINK I HAVE HAD THEM SINCE MY TEENS AND I AM 37 NOW.  I WAS IN THE ER TWO WEEKS AGO THINKING I WAS HAVING THE BIG ONE TO FIND THAT I AM SUFFERING WITH PVC'S AND EVERYTHING ELSE CHECKED OUT FINE.  THE ER SENT ME TO THE CARDIOLOGIST WHERE I WAS PRESCIBED A BETA BLOCKER (TOPROL) AND WAS TOLD TO COME BACK IN THREE MONTHS.  I LEFT THINKING, WHAT IS THIS??? I JUST COULDN'T ACCEPT THAT THIS WAS NOT SERIOUS THEN I REALIZED HOW BLESSED I WAS THAT IT WAS NOT CONSIDERED SERIOUS.  THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE TO DEAL WITH IS THE ANXIETY AND PANIC WHEN I HAVE THE PVC'S.  IT'S THE MOST DIFFICULT THING TO DO BECAUSE I FEEL SO BAD WHEN THE PVC'S HIT AND I START TO PANIC.
HAS ANYONE FOUND THAT ACID REFLUX, STRESS, AND/OR MSG (MONSODIUM GLUTAMATE) TRIGGERS THE PVC'S???? I AM HIGHLY SENSITIVE TO MSG AND HAVE ACID REFLUX AND A HIGH STRESS JOB.
