Panic attack

Ok I've started to see a doctor in January and this my first time getting help for my panic attacks, so my doctor prescribed me xanax 0.25 mgs as needed for panic attack. I do have a fear of pills cause of a bad experience with one years ago but my wife and my doctor and my wife's grandparents that it won't hurt you or cause crazy side effects it will only relax you and when I took it right before I felt a attack coming it helped but sometimes I have a tough time with them cause of that one bad experience with that one pill. I don't want to be dependent with the pill I just take if I really need it like it says on the bottle only take if needed, but the problem I'm having tho now is that my wife is leaving  for New York on the 11th in the morning and is gonna be back that same day but the problem is sleeping the night before she leave cause I'm scared I'm gonna get attack. I just need support tomorrow night to help me sleep cause I know I won't be able to sleep and this sites helps I don't want to wake my wife up in the middle of the night cause I'm having a attack and she doesn't get sleep and won't be up early to go to the city.

I copied this post to the last thread you created and posted to yesterday. It is easier for us to help you if you keep it all together, so someone not familiar with your situation can get up to speed quickly and not repeat things already discussed.
