Papilledema and severe anxiety

can severe anxiety be a cause for papilledema?

No, anxiety cannot cause papilledema, but can cause many symptoms that mimic it.  What are you experiencing?

yes!!!! pressure in the head, visual disturbances, pressure against the back of the eyes, and my blood pressure is normal, I took zoloft the first week and all the pressure went away, but the second week I casually smoked two cigarettes, now the pressure came back but eased after a few days
