Physical causes for anxiety

Has anybody looked into real physical causes for panic attacks and anxiety, I never had this kind of issues until recently, three weeks ago, I have been taking several different blood pressure medicines and worrying a lot about blood pressure for the past 6 months, and for the last two or three years worrying a lot being under lots of stress on unrelated things like business and family, etc.
Doctors do not find anything physical for my HP, at least no obvious dangerous anomaly, I just quit smoking and that caused me lots of additional stress, just about all the HP medicines cause anxiety as side effects.
Panic attack is an extra release of adrenaline, my doctor said in the kidney CAT scan he could see some thickening in the adrenal medulla, people has extra hormone production like hyperthyroidism and adolsterone etc, why can’t there be extra adrenaline and is there a treatment for it if that is the case.
I know stress is bad but I have a hard time believing just because we think about certain things we get a panic attack, or always that is the case, could it be that first we get a release of adrenaline and then comes the panic symptoms? At least in some cases.
I will add then HP medicine in their side effects list anxiety, could it be the cause? Then in an attempt to help my HP I quit sugar and decreased carbohydrates, I started to drink diet drinks and sugar free candy, cardio and strength exercises, unknown to me phenylalanine the main ingredient of aspartame causes an increase of adrenaline as well as all those other things I was doing, in return it causes a rise in blood pressure and there is no relaxation plus anxiety.
I noticed no smoking did not cause a difference in my HP, talking to a few ex smokers they noticed the same effect, the reason could be that smoking is a relaxant at least mentally, without tension goes up along HP, takes a long time to wean out from nicotine.

The physical causes for anxiety can be low blood sugar, an overactive thyroid, untreated high BP, certain additives in foods and drinks, and I'm not just talking about caffeine.  Side effects from certain meds, but in most cases the cause is unknown, and only therapy can in some people unlock deep seated roots.

High BP is a mystery, and in most cases doctors cannot find why some patients developed high BP.  I understand that I endee up with high BP because of all my severe anxiety and panic attacks in the past, stress indeed can bring on high BP, but again, not in everybody.  For some people its genetic, inherited from their parents.  Then there are people like my husband who doesn't worry about a thing, is not overweighed, eats healthy and exercises every day just like I do, but he too ended up with high BP, and he too had to go on meds.

I don't know how old you are, but the Hypertension Specialist I saw that most people once they are past the age of 50 develop a higher BP then they had throughout the yrs when they were young or even develop high BP.

Alot of my anxiety is related to inter pain in the stomach, hypertension and then the thoughts get erratic because I know something is wrong.
