Please someone help....

Ok...I started having panic attacks three months ago.....they went away but I was left feeling very uneasy....had eye floaters....hot flushes....etc.....

Now....about nearly 3 months later ive suddenly come on very very dizzy and get constant rushing feelings going through my arms and face and feel sick. get bad pins and needles....these bouts get worse and sometimes better for no reason....I also seem to cry a lot from the stress of it all....but the thing is....I do not get a racing heart or breathing problems?...my last doctor told me that sometimes people have panic attacks but u can just have on going anxiety which can make u feel dizzy and get pins and needles without the racing heart?....is that possible...I thought the hyperventilation caused the pins and needles?

The doctor has done normal bloody work tests....and check for diabetes and also checked blood pressure...breathing etc.....he assures me NOTHING can be wrong....now...how can this be possible? I havent had every test....he has told me it cant be a brain tumor cuz id have really bad headache and pass out?.....so....my question is...can anxiety really always be there without a racing heart etc??......and can it be this bad really? so bad that at least 10 times a day you really believe you are about to pass out?....and how the hell do I stop it cuz I take my mind completely off it and it doesnt help at all......and any medicine seems to make me worse....even if it is in my head.....im going counciling on thursday....dunno how that will help....I literaly feel like life aint worth going on with at mo....this takes over EVERYTHING....

Yes to your question.  You can have constant anxiety without heart racing etc.  I know that I used to feel like my head was always in a fog and very dizzy.  Always a nauseous stomach and felt like I couldn't take it anymore.  But PLEASE know that you CAN and WILL feel better.  It takes time, lots of time, but with a counselor's help and possible medication you can get back to a normal life.  I know how terrible you feel right now.  Take it easy on yourself.  It will get better..I promise.

Oh yes! I can have the anxiety without the racing heart. It all depends on what your anxiety wants to do at that moment. A panic attack gives me a racing heart. Believe it or not I had one last night. It was my first panic attack in a while. Got really nervous, don't know why. My heart started racing and the more I worried the faster it got. My regular anxiety I can have all the time pins and needles through out body and other symptoms, but no racing heart. Panic/Anxiety does whatever it wants when it wants, until we can learn how to control it. I have gotten better, but still have a while to go to get back to my normal self.
