Propranolol withdrawal causing anxiety?

I slowly got off propranolol 2 weeks ago after my surgery for hyperthyroid and after i did i starting getting really bad anxiety attacks, this whole week has been horrible, from day to night i havnt been able to relax. How long does it take for someones body to adjust off being used to propranolol? Any one else have this problem?

i was on 150mg sertraline and 80mg propanolol slow release have stopped taking both two weeks ago how long does it take for side effects of this take to stop

Call your doctor and follow his advice on how best to handle this. Two weeks may not have been enough time, or since it is often prescribed for anxiety....you may still need it. Your doctor will know what you need to do, maybe a slower taper. Good luck and take care.
