Pulse rate/ Anxiety or no?

I suffer from anxiety and don't deal with stress very well.  Just a quick question.  My pulse rate is usually around 72-76 during the day, but at night when I go to bed it is around 55-60.  I heard that pulse rates and such are usually lower in the evening.  Should I be concerned about this?

You're welcome.
So many of us on this forum suffer from health anxiety, so you're definitely not alone! I think if you spend some time reading some of the post regarding this, you'll get some good ideas of how other's are coping with it.
You said you've had some health issues recently and I hope they are resolved now, but I understand how they can create a health anxiety problem.
If it becomes more than a "normal" anxiety when you don't feel good, if it begins to sort of overtake your mind to the point that you are always worried and convinced you have some major disease, please speak with your doctor about a referral to a good therapist. You DO NOT want to spend your life with this disorder!

Thanks for your comment.  I'm not really physically active, but I am healthy.  I wasn't exactly worried about it because I've had a cardio work up about 2 years ago and things were fine.  I do have health anxiety recently since I've had some health issues lately.  Thanks for the reassurance.

"Normal" heart rates are around 60-100bpm during the day. You are right in the average. That your heart rate drops to 55-60 at night is very normal and nothing to worry about! If it was the other way around, we'd have something to talk about!
You're fine!
Stop the worry and keep your fingers off your pulse! LOL

I am not a doctor, but it does tend to go down at night.  I had actually had some tests done and mine has dipped into the 30s at night with no problems...docs said I had an effecient heart because I run a lot.   If it bothers you, why not get it checked out?  Do you often worry about your health?  Health anxiety can be a real pain in the you know what. I find that once one accepts one symptom many people often move onto the next one...keep us posted!
