Okay, goptcha.
Try to stay busy, distract yourself. The less you think about it, the better you'll feel.
I never had such expirience before ,thats why i am so worry but tomorrow i have app at my cardiologist and gonna ask him if he can give something to ease those sypthoms .
I agree with your doctor. Are you prescribed an anxiety med? if not, perhaps you could ask for a short term course of an anxiolytic?
Sounds to me like you're having panic attacks. I think the remaining anxiety you have left is more you having conditioned yourself mentally, by worrying so much about it. That's common with anxious people.
Have you ever had any other history of anxiety in the past? It almost sounds like you have had experience with this. If you have a history of anxiety, then most likely, the anxiety response became worse than the initial side effects from the solumedrol.
Well i truly hope that i will start feeling better ,i just dont know what to do when my body starts shaking and this nervousity like panic attack .My doc advices me to try using something to calm me down ,i used to be always in top form and i hate being so weak unable to function normaly :((
Yes, any steroid medication can cause these kinds of symptoms... increased pulse, nervousness. It's pretty common. If it's been 2 weeks, I'd say, the effects you're feeling now is more an anxious reaction to the side effects you felt. The med is long gone out of your system by now.
Just give it time, you'll be fine. The worst thing you can do is continue thinking about it and worrying about it, you could be exacerbating the symptoms. Try to keep yourself busy, get on with life. The less you think about it, the better.
To reassure you, yes, what you experienced is very typical with steroids, it won't cause any long term issues, and it won't harm you in any way. You just have to ride it out,.
Hang in there...let us know how you're doing!
