Agoraphobia - now since my panic attack 9 days ago, I am afraid to go over the bridge. What can I do to help my self over come this? I need to go to work. By the way, I feel alittle better today. Thanks
Thank you Ryan, I am happy all is good with you and that is a great idea, I will definitely split the dose. Hey man I appreciate all your advice and help. Thanks again.
Unfortunately I have felt crappie for the last 8 day and today it just got worse. I feel like I have the flu and had a panic attack earlier. I also feel like my nervous system has been extremely enhanced. I was feeling great for a while prior to the 8 days, weaning off the Klonopin and when I started to go lower that is when it all just went down hill. I am lost, I don’t know what to do, and everyone says that the crossover is the best thing to do. I just hope this works, I really want to take it the way you recommended, but I have to drive to work and it takes anyware from 1.5 hours to 2 hour there and back and like i mentioned before I need to be alert at work because of the responsibility I have. How are you doing? Hope all is ok.
I just stopped the Klonopin last night and went right to the valium is this correct or do I need to still take the Klonopin as well. I called my new doctor 4 times to find out and he never called me. as always thanks.
I just read that article and it was very interesting, but it states that 10MG of valium is equivalent to .5MG of Xanax or Klonopin. Thanks again.
Thanks for your insight, I truly appreciate all the advice that I receive, but unfortunately I need to come to sites like this because 99% of the physiatrists out there are so uneducated when it comes to this stuff. As for our FDA, I would just a 4 year old before them. LOL thanks again and I too thought that 10 MG of Valium is .5 MG of Klonopin. My main goal is to just be myself again like everyone else on these horrible drugs.
QOUTE:
actually, according to tests done by "dr. bob" 10mg of diazepam (valium) is equal to .5 mg of alprazolam (xanax) is equal to .25 mg of clonazepam (klonopin).
fd11 here is an url to go to for understanding of what's going on with your dosage.http://mb.rxlist.com/rxboard/xanax.pl?noframes;read=2071
Valium is a great medication for weaning, it does have a longer half life and gets into your blood plasma quicker. Look at some of the UK studies that arent' excepted by our FDA and you'll find ways of weaning. They are long, but safer. On thing, Klonopin does help with the convulsions, for it is a medication given for that. Just remember, everyone's system is different and in most studies I've researched, men are more sensitive to benzo's than that of women.
Always seek advice from a medical professional, getting input from other sources are a good way to understand what's going on, but don't just go on those "facts" from ppl. Yes, I am a retired medical professional btw and pharmacology was my best subject. ;) It helps when you deal with life and death situations.
But like Ryan says; Don't get too worried about it, have any problems contact your physican immediately or to your nearest ER if any arrythmia's or other side affects occur.
I need to be some what alert during the day do do you think it would be ok to take the whole 10 MG at night because I am really sensitive to this stuff and with my job, I have to be alert. Thanks and I hope all is well with you.
