Racing Thoughts Aniexty???

When im trying to go to sleep recently, my mind keeps racing from one thing to the next. I suffer from GAD and now im worrying its something else rather than anxiety - I start to worry and then its getting me down somewhat...I guess im just after confirmation - are racing thoughts a symptom of anxiety?

Hi,
I also encounter similar problem recently.I got nauseaus,
Racing heart rate and feeling fear some nights in a week
I've been taking zoloft 25mg since 2003 and it seems
That it has lost it effectiveness

Or it might be me that has been tolerance to it
I am considering taking other things like xanax
Instead of increasing zoloft dosage again.

Take half of 0.25mg xanax to help you relax at night
Or take full 0.25mg if you think you really panic out that night

My suggestion is keep the dose as low as possible

Good luck to us!

Like a bat cave at sunset................that's how I describe MY nights of racing thoughts. They fly around by the thousands!
And don't worry, they are a clasic symptom of anxiety. If you figure out a way to make them stop, please let the rest of us know!
If they are causing you to seriously lose sleep, please talk to your therapist or doctor.
I wish you a peaceful nights rest
