Racing thoughts

I have done research on medications and found that most of the ones that they have given are Dangerous in general. They seem to cause more medical problems for me. Its from all the side effects. I still deal with racing thoughts which I called Multi-tasking for years. In my research, I could control most of my other problems by taking multiviamins with Multi-Basic essentail Amnio acids that the body needs to function properly and adding B-6 to help promoted the reaction of the Amno Acids in my body to help with other problems caused by the Racing thoughts which includes depression. I am able to sleep at night because the Amino Acids make me tried at night. I still have to take Alprazolam to keep me Calm. Then, I am able to focus on what I am doing without jumping around. I have been on that drug for years now. I have found this to work and it in part can from China's medical theory. No one should do this without talking to doctor about it. Other drugs could cause unwanted reasons within the body. Everyone is different so everyone has to find away to help the racing thoughts. My guestion is what other drug could be used instead of Alprazolam. I refuse to take any antidepressant drugs or antipsychotic drugs. They are DANGEROUS and just on Risperdal I have 22 pages of harmful things it causes. Side effects are real effects that drugs cause. Its like if you somke pot it helps reduce pain and anxiety. The side effect is you get a little high. In Canada they use Nabilone which is a marijuana based drug for treating fibromyalgia and cancer patients. It does not get you high. The USA seems to be behind in the medical field. I have not found a drug for Racing thoughts. I don't smoke pot so I need some elsa to re place the Alprazolam and want to be functional.

You could try Valerian instead of Alprazolam, its like "herbal valium." By the way, which Amino Acids do you take? I'm also looking to try a more natural route in solving my racing/obsessive thoughts as well. I'm currently on no meds (was on Zoloft for 6 months)
