Random Muscle Twitches -- Anxiety Related?

Hello, I'm 18 years old and every day for about 6 months now I have had these random muscle twitches that occur anywhere on my body (some days I get them less than others) and occur at any time of day.  The twitches are VERY random and usually occur directly after I think of something (this is very hard to describe I just know that I get the twitch in response to my thinking).  When the twitch occurs, it will happen any from my leg twitching to my head/neck/arm... pretty much anywhere.  Also, when I am under the influence of marijuana the amount of twitching I get can increase tenfold (although it is all primarily in my legs).

I am really concerned about this, I am not epileptic and neither is anyone in my family. I have never had a seizure in my life.  Recently I have been really concerned I might have brain cancer or something because I also get these really weird headaches/lightning bolt headaches in the back of my head all the time for as long as I can remember.  I am generally a very worried, insecure, and paranoid person (I am always worried about what others think of me) -- could this be the reason why I am getting the twitches? If you need any more information please ask and thank you very much for your time

It is anxiety related. I get the same exact thing. Pot makes it way worse for me so so quit as soon as you can. The thing that helps me is to take a small amount of an anti-anxiety drug called Lorazepam. Talk to a psychiatrist about it man. Let me know if you haven any questions
