If Zoloft was beneficial for you at one point there is a good chance that it will agin be beneficial to you, so you have nothing to lose my trying it again.
And, please take your medications as prescribed and do not dicontinue a medication without the approval and guidance of your doctor.

I had problems returning to Zoloft. I found little to no help in it. I was on it for about 3 years took a year break from it and had to return to it because my anxiety was just too bad. Unfortunately this time was not as relieving. I had increased panic attacks, little to no anxiety relief and all the bad side effects. I no longer had any interest in sex, I gained weight, I rarely felt REALLY happy or REALLY sad. I felt numb. I stopped taking Zoloft for the final time and aside from the "brain zaps" which zoloft so often causes in people. I am fine now.
I hope it will work better for you though. I know how frustrating it to decide to go back on a certain medicine. Give it a try thats all you can do. If you feel worse or like it didn't help you can always try something else. Talk to your doctor about other classes of anti depressants. Maybe SSRI's are not doing the trick.. thats what i discovered for me.
