Ryan- I would like your advice

I have been taking lorazapam for about 4 1/2 months for anxiety. I started at 2 mgs a day and gradually have come down to a little less than .5mg in the morning only. I shave a little bit off and so I am currently at about .4. If I was to stop it cold turkey would I have severe withdrawls? How long would they last. As it is now I suffer from jaw tightness and muscle tension in my neck, with accelerated heart rate.
I also take .5 mg twice a day of Buspar which I don't think is doing anything for me. Will I have to wean of that? If so, how? Is there withdrawls with Buspar?

Thanks for your response. I will talk with my doctor about the valuim.
When you say that you would error on the side of caution about the buspar. Do you have any suggestions as to how I stop that med. I also believe that it is not doing anything for me at this point but don't want to cause any problems on my taper from the lorazapam.

Thanks, Kimmas
