My doctor has taken me off of Elavil after only three days because of the panic attack from taking Ativan and because of several incidents of racing heart. Before I got your info I had upped Elavil on the third day to two tablets thinking that it would be alright since my doctor said to start with one tablet and then I could go ahead with two tablets. After I did that I started having the racing heart. It ws scary and has let me quite anxious Does this limit me as to other anxiety/depressions pills? I also had tried Lexapro for 3 weeks and just hated that. Your advise would be greatly appreciated.
