SUICIDE THOUGHTS ???????

I have read in the short time I have been in this forum of people who are asking for "general help" and "support", but I would caution anyone who reads a post where the  person states or makes suggestions of suicide in any shape or form to  1) Please keep your response short and to the point. TELL THEM TO CALL 911 OR 411 FOR HELP. 2) I would suggest that you not even address the issue they are bringing up until AFTER they RESPOND with a statement that they made a bad CHOICE OF WORDS. then we are all here to help them.

I know first hand what its like with PANIC/ANXIETY as most of us do, but we must be careful how we word ourselves especially in a 'TEXT FORMAT' with our concern for help, this is nothing I or anyone should take lightly

Please understand, I don't care what you write about concerning Anxiety/panic in this forum or your grammer or your spelling, but when I read any statement that sounds of self harm. I do not address thier issue, I say call 911 or 411.

also I am not in anyway a monitor of this forum, I am just putting this out to all.

The policy as I'm aware of is to inform the administrators immediately. They can take what steps are neccessary from there. I know we were all informed about calling 911 in an emergency of any kind instead of posting, in signing up but it may happen regardless. But if we see a post where a person is talking about committing suicide or has suicidal ideations inform the administrators as they will take the appropriate steps.
