Serzone

Does anyone take Serzone for Depression and Panic Disorder??? Im scared to take my prescription because my doctor said its a very old med and people used to have liver failure and problems, and die from it, but she said it works significantly well with people like me who have panic, depression, and social anxiety......I've had a bad experience with a few antidepressants before , but they were SSRI's and Serzone is supposedly in a totally different class of meds and works differntly than SSRI's, but im scared to death to try any more.....PLEASE help me get over my fear, i need to get better, i get more and more depressed everyday.

I have been taking Serzone for depression and panic disorder for over 15 years. I have not had any problems. The doctor that prescribes the Serzone should order a blood test every 6 months to once a year to check your liver function. Serzone is very effective for depression and panic disorder.
