Severe Anxiety

Hello, I'm only12 but for the past two years I've had severe panic attacks, my family is mostly made up of doctors, pharmacists and herbalists. I always hear them talking about new diseases and health problems, I'm not sure but this might have caused hypochondria.

I also get lots of panic attacks over nothing. I'm not sure if this is part of puberty or if their is something wrong with me.I feel like my life is at a dead end and all I can do is slip down and collapse on the ground. I feel like I'm going to die young.

My muscles and bones have been aching a lot since the panic attacks worsened I have nausea and I feel like vomiting almost constantly. I sometimes get headaches, jaw aches, spasms of the nerves and they have been more consistent when my the attacks worsened.

Can you please help me?
Gray

Hi there.  Please talk to your parents about all of this.....they will understand and make sure you get help....which we all need at some point!  I'm sure always hearing about bad things like illnesses can have a negative impact on you and it may be causing you a lot of anxiety and with therapy you can work thru this and get beyond it!  I know it's very scary but there is help and you can and will feel better.  Talk to your parents and go from there.  I think "not knowing" is the scariest part and once you discover "why" you're feeling this way you can move beyond it.  You're not going to die young, often things bother us and we don't even know what they are which scares us even more.  Once you talk to your parents and get into therapy you will be able to make sense out of this and move beyond it.  Don't suffer in silence...your parents love you and would want to know if something is wrong.  It's going to be okay, I promise.

After having a panick attack I get aches all over my body an pains its due to tensing up and the stress, it mite help u to confide in 1 ov ur family members if they are a docter too that's a bonus as u trust and knw they wouldn't lie to u, I truly hope things settle down for u soon
