Severe anxiety/ depression

All the symptoms everybody mentioned above are anxiety symptoms. I have been having anxiety/depression from 5 last years. It started a month after I had my second baby. It suppose to be short term postpartum depression but it turned into long term anxiety. I have been many anti meds but it doesn't seem like it's getting better. Meds doesn't make u feel better but it takes little edge off. I really want to get of these meds but I am super scared because I think I might get worse . That's how docs are scaring me. These meds give lot of side effects and u suffer lot from these meds.  I Suffered lot and still suffering from shaking, burning sensation on neck, arm, hands, nausea , feel like crying, heart palpation, thinking never going to get better. I did lot research, exercised, therapy, went anxiety group classes, praying, doing yoga, also tried homeopathic meds, went to different docs for 2nd opinion. Nothing helped, still back where I was. It's like a circle, where I am stuck .  I am so tired of this, I want my life back. I don't know what to do or which way to go. Any suggestion will be helpful.if I get off the celexa 40 mg will I be in more worse situation?

If that for you cause migrena so the possibility that can make it worst is to take that of and see it. Doc will never tell you that iud will give you side effects . Friends of mine took it out because she was going nuts. Ill do the same next week and if I feel better i will let you know

If you take a med and it works for you then you really should stay in it. Prozac was working for you so there was no reason to quit taking it once you felt better. It's true that some people only need to be on meds for a short time while they're in therapy addressing their depression and anxiety.
It's not uncommon to have rebound depression and anxiety after stopping a med. It should be done slowly and you really need to work with your therapist during and after the process.
I think you've shown that you can do well on a med. The problem is that once you start feeling better your Dr is decreasing your dose and that can cause your depression and anxiety to come back.
You may want to go ahead with this taper from Celexa and try something else. If you do well on that med and that dose then tell your Dr to leave things alone once you feel better.
I understand that you're tired but don't give up.

I really  apperiate ur feedback. At Kaiser the med doc is different than therapist. So I have anti med doctor who gives me medicine and then seperate therapy doc. My med doc doesn't know I want to taper off and she won't let me.  They increased my dose from 30 mg to  celexa 40 mg and it's still work. I called the doctor and told her meds r not working. She said keep taking and additionally take klonopin as need for anxiety. She said she won't increase more than 40mg then heart problem  risk is involved,

When I started anti med:
Took Zoloft - gave me super severe anxiety , then she told me to stop that
Then took Paxil for 3 months, didn't work at all
Then put me on Prozac and buspar- worked really will. I felt like myself again. I tapered off couple of months after feeling with doc permission. I was fine for a month, then anxiety triggered again. She tried to put me on Prozac, it didn't work.
After that been on celexa for more 3 years. Started with 60 mg along with klonopin. Then she cut to 40 mg to be in FDA safe zone. 3 months ago cut down 30 mg because was feeling better. Again after a month anxiety triggered again so she increased 40 mg. it's been 6 weeks since the increase .
Trying different meds gave lot of severe side effect which I suffered a lot from even after that I am still at beginning of the circle. I am tired and exhausted from trying lot of thing. I am at a point where I want a cure with a snap finger, which is not possible. Now I think there is no cure for mem, I give up.

I know you want to get off your meds but the problem could be that you're not on a high enough dose. How long have you been at 40 mgs?
Your Dr knows you want to taper yet he does'nt want to see you again for 4 weeks? That sounds unusual. I would think he would want to see you at least once a week.
Can you say what other meds you've been on, if you can remember them? Sometimes we have to try several before we find one that works. And, sometimes we have to do dose increases after awhile.
I'm not sure if things will get better or worse if you stop your med. It's so hard to say. Can you talk to your Dr about seeing you before 4 weeks? If he won't then you might want to find a different therapist.

Yes, I am going follow doc's instructions to taper off the meds. I did all types of blood tests every 6 months and everything is fine. That why I don't understand why I am suffering from this. On top of that I didn't major trauma in my life. I am soooo hopeless and scared that I am never going to have my life back. It's like my brain is totally screwed up, it cannot think positive. I am so desperate. I am so scared that I will get worse after getting off the meds, is that true? I really don't know what to do. Any suggestion.

If you decide to quit your meds please do a tapering plan with your Dr so you don't have any withdrawal symptoms.
Has your Dr did any testing like blood work? When you were in therapy was the therapist using CBT? It can be the best type of therapy for people with anxiety and or depression.
