Severe anxiety!

Please help! I have severe anxiety and hypochondriasis! I've had it for years and can usually deal with it ok. But recently I have been under tremendous stress..and it has come back w/ a vengenance. I don't know if I have OCD or not. Anyway, I went to the doctor today to get a Tb test for my job and the nurse didn't use gloves when she gave me the shot. I never look when I get shots. What if she stuck herself before she stuck me? Does this sound like my anxiety? I have a hard time when I'm ruminating over my health. Sometimes I don't think about things rationally. Please help!

  Do not worry the nurse would not have stuck herself with the needle believe me.
They are careful about that. They usually do not wear gloves unless they are dealing
with blood. Like when they take samples. Try to do some breathing exercises when
you feel anxious--does help. Maybe go back to talk with your doctor about
your anxiety being more severe and if you have OCD. Anxiety comes with all kinds
of tricks---but take heart in knowing we are here if you need to vent. Take care.
