Should I be worried?

Ive researched panic and anxiety diorders and most of my syptoms (symptoms) fit besides the fact that the onset was over a period of an hour, the "attack" lasted about an hour, and some symptoms remained for more then 5 hours. Im a 21 year old female, no prior medical conditions. i drink more then occasionaly and smoke sometimes but not in the days leading up to this.

Yesterday i drank half a cup of coffee on an empty stomach and after about 2 hour of driving, stopped for burgers which is when i noticed my right leg had gone numb for no apparent reason. Driving about 30 minutes after that my head became fuzzy so about 30 minutes later my mother took over. I decided to lay down and try and sleep but as soon as i closed my eyes i felt a shock of adrenaline to my chest and I shot up. This is when my breathing became rapid. I placed my hand on my chest and tried to breath deep and steadily for about 15 minutes and then my head began to feel warm, this feeling spread down my neck into my chest. Alternately i would feel that my heart was rapidly beating or very slow. 5 minutes later i alerted my mom and soon after that my entire right arm immediately went numb and tingly and my left fingers began to go numb. This feeling slowly started to creep up my left arm. At this point i felt like i was being pulled backwards and my head was very warm. I kept breathing and eventually my head cleared and i felt i no longer had to tell myself to breath. the whole ordeal lasted about an hour. my head became very cool, then my legs started shaking and i still had the jitters 4 hours later.

So my question is...was this a panic attack or something else?

You need to see a doctor to find out, because you have to rule out physiological causes before you can diagnose it.
