For the last few years I have been experiencing nausea, wierd dizzy feelings like hot water being poured over my headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury followed by cramps in the tummy, diarrhoea, cold chillsChills, irratibility, inability to sleep, sometimes followed by vomiting then fainting. These episodes always happen at night after dinner around about 9.00 - 10.00 when I am sitting at home watching T.V. I have suffered from IBS since I was thirteen, and was diagnosed with stomach ulcers some years ago. Sounds like stress related things to me
I have two children and own a business. I take Stemetil for the nausea followed by 5 - 10mg temazepan. If I can get to sleep then I wake up fine the next day. But don't want to keep taking benzosBenzo-o-stetic. Doctors are stumped. Have an appointment with Gastroenterologist on Tuesday followed by Psychiatrist in November. i am wondering if anyone else has ever had these problems. It was happening once a month then once a week, now every second day.
I know quite a few people with IBS, and they always say it is much worse with stress. Have you been feeling anxious/stressed lately? If so, do you have access to a therapist? For me, just talking it over with someone can really put the mind at ease and can thus help put many of the physical symptoms as well.
