Sleeping Problems TIPS?

Hi, I'm currently observing my sleep patterns ever since I'm experienced a panic attack 3 weeks ago. Initially, every time I'm about to fall asleep, my heart beat increases followed by a jolt that wakes me up, and sometimes i felt slight numbness in my limbs. It was pretty scary and I'm still getting anxious about it. As time progresses by, I was only experiencing these symptoms only when I took a nap in the afternoon (which ends as a failed nap since these jolts awaken me) but at night I don't (still, I find it hard to fall asleep). Does anybody experiences these sleep problems? Normally, I was able to sleep freely whenever i want and wake up feeling refreshed. But now it feels that every step that I'm going to take when falling asleep is like a time bomb. I miss sleeping deeply and without worries. It makes me feel depressed. Any tips how you overcame these nightmares?

i had this same problem twice before and again now I'm back on meds for this but at the minute it's trial and error as to which med is going to work for me as there are loads out there that effect people in different ways, if this is a problem that is bothering you I would suggest a visit to your doctor and have them help it may only get worse for u but the sooner you do something to help it does get better I know been there twice and now on my 3rd time x
