So i went to the dr because i thought i have severe anxiety and he diagnosed me with adult adhd????

So i went to the dr and said i think i have anxiety...he asked me like 5 questions said i have adhd and gave me focalin then adderall (adderrall).....i really dont know what to do i still think i have anxiety but i think the others are helping but i dont really need it...i have tryed to mention it ...i guess the answer may be obvious get another dr...any advice or similar situations?

The answer is obvious, do see another Dr. I really don't see how he could give you a diagnosis with 5 questions and one visit.
Are you saying that you have started the ADHD meds and they are helping? I'm a little confused about that. Sorry.

If its any help, I was diagnosed with Anxiety but one clinic doctor asks me questions on a paper and told me I to must have ADHD... and wanted to put me a ridalin. Obviously I was hesitant because I did not believe I had ADHD and knew that if I did It would not cause me to have Panic/Anxiety Attacks... So it does all depend on your symtoms (symptoms) and how you are feeling. I personally knew I had Anxiety by putting all my strange symtoms (symptoms) together, you know yourself best. So do your reseach on Anxiety and you will know, trust me.

i am taking the adhd med and it helps me be focused but it does speed me up....i still have anxiety i know my heart feels like its going to pop out of my chest sometimes i get so nervoius

my sypmtoms are think non stop -i can see adhd in that iguess nervous around everyone all the time when i go to work right before i go in i feel like im going to have a heart attack i worry about eveerything and it keeps me up .....i know alot of people prob have these issues but i think mine are severe
