So scared now worrying about HIV i had oral sex with a homosexual male

About a week ago had oral sex with a homosexual male, he had questionable previous sexual encounters, four days after the encounter I started to get a sore throat and was very tired and had a headache as well as having in upset stomach and mild diarrhea, I understand these can be symptoms of the very early for stage of HIV which takes place shortly after infection. I am very scared even though I know I'm virtually no risk I still have extreme anxiety about any advice people?

Also anyone who knows a lot about HIV if he was HIV+ realistically what is the likelihood of me being infected with HIV? also what are the risks of contracting other STD's from this encounter? As well is it possible to start seeing HIV symptoms 4 days after possible exposure? Also he did not ejaculate in my mouth, I also had a small cut on my gums.

Hello. As you prolly know, this is high risk behavior. The symptoms of HIV are also present in other conditions, as such your symptoms don't mean you are infected. The only way to know for sure is by getting tested for it, and it would be wise to be tested for other STDs as well. Hope this helps, GM

I would but you have to wait three months until a HIV test can pick up in infection.
