Social Anxiety and Extreme Blushing

Hi
I have an eighteen year old daughter who is suffering from social anxiety and I never once clued in until she called from university in terror about attending English where she may have been called upon by her professor. I feel so inadequate now that I have finally clued in and have been researching non stop on the net and through our local resources. With an appointment finally set for a consultation I have been looking for strategies to help her until then. Has anyone experienced extreme and profuse blushing when having to engage in conversation? Not just with new people but with well known acquaintances also. If so...do you have any strategies that may be of help to practice for control of this symptom?
Thanks

Hi
I can relate to this problem.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy would help her.

It is a horrible problem to have, I'm 37 and still have a prob sometimes.

Best Wishes
