Does anybody get this? I know with anxiety a lot of people get chest pain. But I actually have sternum pain? And only when i press on it or try to touch my shoulders to my back. I've had this before and it goes away. Just has been here for a few weeks. Anybody know what it is? Or ever have it?
I have this too. Yes it's anxiety related. Your sternum has tiny fibers of muscle in there and they spasm. It's all from tension. I have it right now off an on matter of fact. It doesnt bother me or scare me. Funny how some symptoms freak you out but not others or vice versa. :) Hang in there.
Also, if you ever want a good easy cheap way to see how good your heart is. Pinch your fingernails, it should turn white, if you let go really quick, it should go back to the original color before you pressed on it. My Dr. taught me that a long time ago. That' a good, cheap way of reassurance your blood flow and heart is good during anxiety. ;)
Is it when your press on your sternum or stretch your chest? It's weird I know I've had it before but never met anybody else who has. Wasn't sure of sternum pain could be anxiety related. Thanks for your reply!
