Support for withdrawl of Cipralex

Ok so I posted a few weeks ago about reducing my Cipralex dose from 10mg to 5mg. After about a week the withdrawal symptoms eased off.  I saw my DR on Monday and she to,d me to now start taking 5mg every other day... Then after a week or two every 2 days.
So now I feel like crap again!  No anxiety just feel almost like I am really hung over or sick.  I know this must be more withdrawl but if anyone has any words of encouragement or support I could really use it right now!
It kind of scares me how intense withdrawl is.

Thanks for the support :)
I was doing good all day today but now I'm sweating like crazy and the headache is back - ugh just in time for bed.  I feel like crawling into my freezer
I'm not really feeling any increased anxiety except over the withdrawl sensations.

It's good it scares you -- that will make you prepared in the future.  It's good to have respect for medication.  What you're feeling now is often called the Paxil flu, because Paxil was the drug that was first tied to withdrawals after years of psychiatrists not saying anything about it.  Unfortunately, that is still too often the case, which is why we need to do more of our own homework than one would think would be necessary.  Hopefully this will pass quickly; if it lasts a while or if you start to encounter new emotional problems you never had before, than go back on the last dose that felt fine and go more slowly.  You'll make it.

I forgot to add that I was Lex for 10 years.  It stopped working for me or I would still be on it.  My then doc told me to wean off in 2 weeks.  Too fast for me.  I didn't listen and took my time, do what is best for you.

I just recently weaned off Lexapro myself.  I was on 20 mg.  Went to 10 for 2 weeks, 5 for 2 weeks, then 2.5 for 2 weeks.  The worst was dropping from 20 to 10.  I had terrible headaches.  After that it was fairly smooth.  Although I did start on a new drug so maybe that helped.  Maybe you should try 2.5 mg for a while.
