Hello, I am having surgery next month, I am so scared. I have had two c-section that was emergencyEmergency airway puncture Emergency contraception, I was in so much pain, that i was screaming for them, After my last C-section I lost a lot of blood and they didn't give me blood until a week later. I had all sorts of problems. I have that scare, and I am worried about being put out. I am over wieght. I have been going numb again since I found out about my surgry, its gallbladder by the way, I really need it done.
My question is have any of you guys had surgery and what has helped you get through it. I am really scared about them putting me out,, I am scared I will have a majorMajor tears Major-gesicpanicPanic disorder Panic disorder with agoraphobia attack before they put me out, I am scared of the meds they give you to put you out. I am just scared....lol...

Thank you, I was going to get a scope down my throatCancer - throat or larynx Throat swab culture one time, and I was fine, until they started putting all the iv in me, and i just freaked out,,, I think that is what I am scared of is freaking out and not going through with the surgry.. I really need it..

I understand the fear of surgery...however, today the anesthesia that they use today isn't that powerful stuff from years ago..
You need to try to relax...I know, easier said than done....hang in there and try to think positively.
I had my gallbladder out 20 years ago....it will be fine!!!
