Sweating- social anxiety in certain situation - panic cycle

hey all :)
its my first time posting on this forum. let me talk a bit about myself, i am a male who is not shy at all BUT in certain social situations i enter into the cycle of "Sweating- social anxiety in certain situation - panic attack" .
I have crazy genetics which make me sweat a lot by nature, so at some point in my life i started having the fear of sweating in certain formal social situation (like meeting, presentation ) and it became like a sort of phobia. this phobia put me in a state of constant nervousness and now i get panic attack in oral presentations, i feel fear in job interviews ... i feel my hands are chained somehow, even though as weird as it may sounds if am in a relaxed environment am extremely social and not shy, some people call me party animal...
i don't understand why this transition from social to fear in certain situations, maybe its rooted at my genetics where i sweat a lot...

i am kinda lost, i dunno what kind of technique/help/tool to use to get back on track ?

any help is much appreciated

Well, I'm not a doctor, but I don't think phobias by their very definition make sense.  It is an irrational fear.  I think you are saying that you notice the problem when you seem to be singled out, alone ~ not being able to be relaxed and blending in with those who know you and accept you (like at a party).  Maybe it has to do with performance anxiety.  Not necessarily in a succeed/fail but just the fact that you are being "judged" by those who don't know you personally.  I would think that at if at a very early age you were teased or felt akward or self-concious about sweating, then sometimes that little voice that passes judgement isn't logical.  You know with your adult mind the facts.  You know by now tips to deal with whatever might have made you uncomfortable at a younger age.  But, that inside part of us that doesn't respond to the logic, well in my opinion that's where the phobia hangs out.  It isn't logical.  It isn't rational.  It has a mind of it's own, and it isn't nice.  For me personally, I never can control when or where a panic attack will happen and once it starts I can do some things to try to bring it down a notch, but they don't always work.  But sometimes they do.  In any case, I'm rambling on and on...  Sorry...    What do you think?  Could I be close?

thx a lot for your reply:)

you are very right, phobias are not logical and yes i have been judged while young, i lived in an extremely frustrated society where openess was out of question.

you said "  For me personally, I never can control when or where a panic attack will happen and once it starts I can do some things to try to bring it down a notch, but they don't always work"

yeah , each person panics differently but at the end of the day, its panic and it ***** i know!
me i panic in certain situations, mostly formal ones coz i am a very down to earth person and all this fake civilization routines i find em stupid and fake! plus in my case i sweat with no reason, which put me in a cycle of fear of sweat which makes me sweat then i get fear of sweat...

the funny thing is that sweating in any non formal situation doesnt affect me and am very chill about it.

the thing is i have to find a way to control my body reactions when they occur, and if i am able to do that ill share the technique with u :)
