Swollen lymphnodes + Night sweats + Pain + Please help

Can anxiety bring on these symtoms.

I am terribly affraid that I have contracted a virus or disease (particularly HIV) from my partner. She and I both had tests done with negative results for everything on both ends, but i cant shake my worrying and my symptoms of Swollen lyphnodes (One was in my neck above the adams apple, one above my belly button, one under my left arm, and one that seems to be on the upper portion of my thigh just under my buttox) only make it worse. THe lymphnodes becaome swollen one after another over a 1-1.5 months period and are painfull to the touch. ALong with that I have Night sweats pretty much nigthtly now, and diahrea occasionally.  I keep convincing myself that I have HIV and am going through the early signs and symtoms.

Can my horrible anxiety (GAD) be responsible for these symtoms? I know it is partially responsible for my excessive worrying on this issue, but i cant shake it no matter what i do.

I even asked my girlfriend to take another test, and am going for another test myself in a few weeks. She was offended to say the least when i asked her to take another.

I also suffer from GAD. I have had its for almost 6 years. Just in the past two years I have had night sweats. The doctor told me it is a side effect from the RX's even thought I have been on the same med's and never had that problem before. I have also gotten swollen lymphnodes but they went down after about a week. I get them off and on in my neck. I am not saying everything is fine with you, but I just wanted to let you know I have had some of the same problems. Good Luck and I hope this helps you. (like everyone says.....I am not a doctor)

I think you should see a doctor, I would go to your family doctor and ask about your symptoms, you sound like you have anxiety over HIV but I would get your swollen lymph-nodes checked out, good luck
