A slow heart rate is sometimes normal and can be a sign of being very fit. Healthy young adults and athletes often have heart rates of less than 60 beats a minute. So you could just be young and fit. But let us pretend you are not. Once they have ruled out anything serious then you can almost place at the feet of anxiety. That is to say once you have had anxiety issues in the pass? The blood rushing to the head is normal in such events. It goes were it is needed most of all. To be honest with you I wouldn't even know if my heart was to beat any slower. That is classed as inner focusing. Your mind is on your heart. You notice these things. Having a slow heart rate as a medical condition is called bradycardia. But that would have shown up under any tests done. If it was me I wouldn't worry. Just keep track of how often it occurs. What you are doing when it occurs. How you react to it. See can find some kind of pattern. Might give you a better handle on the problem.
