THROAT TIGHTNESS/CONSTANT HEADACHES

HAS ANYONE OUT THERE EXPERIENCE THIS THROAT TIGHTNESS?? IT FEELS AS IF YOU SWALLOWED A HORSE PILL AND IT'S JUST STUCK. I'VE BEEN EXPERIENCING THIS SENSATION FOR THE PAS 3-4MONTHS NOW AND I'VE SEEK MEDICAL ATTEION BUT THEY ALL TELL ME THE SAME THING, IT'S STRESS. HOWEVER I DO NOT BELIEVE ITS JUST STRESS, I'VE BEEN UNDER EXTREME STRESSFUL SITUATIONS IN MY LIFE AND TO BE HONEST I DONT FELL SOO STRESSED OUT NOW A DAYS. CAN ANYONE HELP. I LOOKED UP THIS WBSITE *****TIGHT-THROAT.COM***** I'M THINKING OF DOWNLOADING THE BOOK?????????

I get this with anxiety sometimes where it feels like ur throat is gonna close on you.. it is not fun and not a good feeling i would ask ur doctor if it could be that. do u have any other symptoms at all?

Hi Jayma;

   Could be globus hystericus. The condition doesn't need major causes.
   I've had the tight throat feeling often and at a time, nearly continous. Went to ER to be checked for a possible allergic reaction. There was no angioedema ( throat swelling ).
   Dx was globus and it is a bit scary! Yes; You say you've had stress w/o this, but, each of us is getting older and our bodily responses do change.
   If you present with a rash and the tight or choking feeling at the same time, to ER fast!!
