Ok so I have been taking KlonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer along with CymbaltaCymbalta for a good 6 months. I started off taking .5 mg of klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer about 1-2 times a day. Naturally over the months I started to gain tolerence to the drug. Now I take about 1mg of klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer but just once a day. I notice this is starting to lose its effectivness now. If I taper down slowly can I gain effectiveness? Also how are klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer withdrawl symptoms? I was on xanax for a while before this and I got off it with no problem. I just want the klonoin to gain back its effectivness with out upping my dosage.
Tolerance can occur with klonopinKlonopin Klonopin wafer, but not in the short time you've been on it. It is also usually dosed twice a day. If you're getting anxious again, it may be the klonopin just isn't working for you. If you do 1mg, you want to do it twice a day, but that's about as much as you'll want to take on a regular basis. More likely, the Cymbalta isn't working on your anxiety, and may even be increasing it, as it works on norepinephrine as well as serotonin. You might want to speak to your psychiatrist about this. Whatever you do, it you decide to stop taking either of these meds, it must be done carefully and slowly.
ok well i had been just taking one dosage of 1 mg for the klonopin on an as needed basis. I usually only need one time a day. So your saying you usually dont gain a tolerance with in 6 months? I am saying a tolerance as in it calms me do down an relaxes kind of like a sedation effect. The cymbalta works pretty nicely.
Thanks for your help
