I can understand your fearFears and phobias...don't worry - there's plenty of information on the topic here on this forum. Do a search for xanax withdrawal using klonopin. You should be able to read some good info. - much of it, I believe, will be posted by Ryan. He's incredibly knowledgeable about klonopin.
This should get you started and hopefully, quiet some of your fears. I'm weaning off of xanax, but not using the klonopin as a replacement, so I can't offer you proper advice on this.
And, I do understand the withdrawal feeling - that's part of the downside of xanax - it has a very short half-life and its duration of action sometimes only lasts 4 hours in some people. It sounds like Klonopin was working for you, so good luck on making your switch-over.
