Tapping

http://www.tapping.com/

Has anyone tried this? It seems to actually work for me. Kinda strange. It doesn't work right away, but it works to a degree each time.

Hope it helps you too. :)

Just like Ginger Rogers! (Only backwards!)

On a bit of a serious note regarding tapping..........my neurologist taught me to "tap" on certain points of my face while I was having a migraine and it does work. At first I thought he was kidding, but after I actually tried it, I became a believer. I hope your tapping helps you. Anything that is "natural" and may help us is certainly worth a try!

I go to an acupuncturist for a few issues, one of them being anxiety. At the end of the acupuncture session he does a tapping process for 10 minutes that is absolutely soothing and relaxing. It releases the stress, and I am psyched about it. I do not know much about self tapping as expressed on www.tapping.com but I am going to check it out. I know that I always request for my acupuncture guy to do this. It works.

I always wanted to get into tapping! Tap dancing that is. The folks couldn't afford the cool pair of shiny black shoes with the taps I dreamed of, so my dad, God rest his drunken soul, took a pair of my shoes and attatched 4 of the old time metal bottle openers to them with rubber bands! Voila! I had my beloved tap shoes! The only problem being, I would have to stop dancing every 15 minutes so dad could open another beer. Well, we all sacrifice for our art..............

An old buddy of mine, Rick Wilkes, is heavy into tapping, and I'm referring to your body, not that beer key in your garage refrigerator. Among other things, Rick published the "Word Perfectionist" magazine back in the 1980's, wrote the CIS Compuserve Communication system and helped develop the "Health Notes" alternative health software (healthnotes.com). Quite a guy, Rick, always on the leading edge but by no means beyond a baseball game and a cold brew now and then.

Last time I scoped him out, he was into "tapping." I thought I would invite him to be a "Tappist Monk," but didn't want him to die laughing at the idea. Anyway, give his website a try at thrivingnow.com. He also has some very funny jokes on the site. If you drop him an email, tell him Scott sends his greetings.

I had my own version of tapping, back in the day. Used a 2X4 and a mallet. Got a lot of kindling and a mild headache, not too much more. Your mileage will vary.
